For more than 175 years, Illinois Wesleyan has prepared students to lead lives of purpose and impact. Our University has evolved throughout that history, but the promise at its heart has remained constant: to unite the breadth of a liberal arts education with close mentorship and meaningful opportunities to apply what students learn.
That promise is visible in the lives of our alumni, in the dedication of our faculty and staff, and in the curiosity and ambition of today's students. It is also what calls us forward.
The world our graduates will enter is changing rapidly. They will need the knowledge to understand complex challenges, the wisdom to navigate them, and the confidence to turn possibility into action. Illinois Wesleyan is uniquely equipped to prepare them, but doing so requires us to invest with purpose today.
Through Honor the Past, Shape the Future, we will accelerate student success, cultivate faculty and academic excellence, expand opportunities for exploration and experiential learning, and enhance the classrooms and campus spaces where students learn, live, and build community.
This $200 million campaign is one of the most ambitious commitments in Illinois Wesleyan's history. More importantly, it is a commitment to every student who will discover who they are and who they can become here.
